Decorated Like A Christmas Tree

I started planning what I wanted to wear for Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve about a month ago. It was so fun for me because it got me excited to be returning home for the holidays. Shopping for Christmas this year made me want to really embrace the theme of Christmas with lots of reds, greens, and whites. When I begun planning my looks for these three days, I needed something that would be chic, fun, but super-Christmasy! These green pants were an unexpected find, but I knew they were just perfect for Christmas day. I get to be the present for a day!

I’m dreaming of a (green) Christmas. These pants make me feel so festive and ready for the holidays!

Sometimes I think paper bag pants are designed for short women! I’m not terribly short, but these pants almost come up to the top of my ribs! The hardest thing about this outfit was finding the right top that wasn’t long since the pants are so high. I finally settled on a white ruffle bodysuit, which was sent to my house in New Orleans. You’ll see it soon in an Instagram or blog post.

Other than that inconvenient detail…I love paper bag pants and this color! This bright green is not an easy color to wear and I think that limits what you can pair/style with these pants. I feel I’ll have to stick with white, black, grey or brown with these pants because the color is so overpowering. It’s not a challenge, but a little unfortunate. Still love the pants, though and the price—got ’em on sale! P.S. Like the bag? I featured it in my last blog post on these awesome racing stripe leggings!
