Do you still have your clothes from your childhood? I don’t, but with the sudden popularity in 90s fashion, it’s as if I am able to replace my entire wardrobe when I was a little girl. If your mom was like mine, one of my most popular outfits were overalls. They had their time as “worst outfit ever” in the early 2000s, and I hated being reminded of them…until now. If you’re willing to take a little extra time in the bathroom (because those buttons are no joke, y’all) , then it’s time for you to bring back the overalls.
These overalls are my everything. I’m not exaggerating. I got these on sale at Zara right after Christmas. Since then, I’ve probably worn them at least 10 times. They are so comfy and the perfect amount of slouchy without feeling messy. Fortunately for me, these overalls are high rise, so I feel comfortable enough to wear a crop top underneath. I prefer to wear off the shoulder tops due to the overall straps. I like to turn a casual denim outfit into a polished look by adding feminine accessories, like my pink satin Pour La Victorie heels and my oversized Yvonne LaFleur sunnies. Should we start a petition to bring back early 2000s oversized sunglasses? I vote yes.
My look was finished with an “airy” touch. I’m wearing these amazing feather earrings, only $42 at Mirabella! I really don’t think I’ll ever give up overalls again. Overall, I will not be giving this style up again. 90s fashion lovers, it’s your time to rejoice.
