Have you ever visited a store and loved an item, but thought it just wasn’t right for you? Then, the next day, you realize that item is SO you, and you need it right now! That was me with this amazing fall purse I got from H&M. Initially, I was head over heels with the purse—its color, shape, and utility. But, I was afraid the color was too much for me. Little did I know, orange is of this fall’s “it” colors. I was expecting a neutral palate wardrobe, but so far this fall (color) looks bright.
YAY! These are my first ~official~ blog pictures since moving to Paris in late August. I am so, so, SO, excited to show these with you! For my first blog location, my photographer and I visited Le Louvre early one Saturday morning. Hardly anyone was out, so it was great for pictures. Waking up at 6 a.m. was difficult, but the view was so worth it. I can’t wait to show you all more Paris locations!
This bag has become one of my favorite pieces this fall, maybe one of my favorite pieces ever. I like colors; don’t get me wrong. However, I was concerned that *this* color wasn’t right for me. We clashed together, ya know? But then I said “What the hey?!” and I went back and got this baby. I’m so glad I did. All the clothes I brought with me to Paris were lots of neutrals (browns, blacks, greys).
When I was here last summer, some said to me Parisians don’t do color…so here I am, now, not doing color. But, apparently in all the fashion stores, color is so in this season! C’est la vie, right? I love how bright this is, and how it’s not a traditional orange. The color reminded me of Beyonce’s outfit when she is slamming that baseball bat into the car in Lemonade. I may not look like her, but you can bet your bottom that I’m going to at least rock that color.
Annnnnnd almost everything I’m wearing can be found at H&M! The bag and the shoes are from my favorite little store, but the trench and dress aren’t, but you can purchase almost identical items at H&M if you want a one-stop shop. (P.S., I just featured the trench in my post from the Catahoula Hotel!)
