I’ll admit it—sometimes in winter, I sacrifice beauty for comfort. It’s cold, alright! Sometimes, those super cute sweaters and wool skirts just don’t protect you from feeling chilled to the bone. However, I was able to compromise with a pair of fashionable trousers that make you feel like they’re just as cozy as your bed, but ready to hit the town! Besides the ultra-comfortable feel, the fun racing stripe on the side is going to make you want to live life in the fast lane.
I am so digging these pants right now! Of course, a big factor of me loving these pants is for their comfort. It feels like I’m wearing sweatpants but without the look of them. I try so hard to look super put together, but the colder it gets in Paris…the more I want to wear pants and sweaters. When I found these pants, I was so excited because it’s the best of both worlds: comfy and cute!
It seems like racing stripes have found their way into the latest trends in stores. It reminds me a little bit of the success behind the “Gucci racing stripe”. I got these pants from Zara, and when I visited the store, there were many other pants with the side stripe, like mine above. What made me choose these because I like how they end at the ankle and aren’t that wide. I especially love the stripes though, don’t they make you feel like you should live life in the fast lane?
The sweater is an old one of mine from when I was in college! I think I bought it in New York City from H&M. The belt though…oh my gosh! I found it at United Colors of Benetton. I want it in black too, but it was sold out in stores. Beige is just as good. Wide belts are my favorite…I’m not a fan of thin belts!
And oh my gosh, can we discuss this bag? I’m over the moon! I’ve been noticing the bags lately have not been traditional purses. They’ve been in all shapes and sizes (bucket bags are next on my list)! I’ve loved the round bag for so long but was unable to find one I liked. This bag was so perfect because it was large enough to fit essentials (like my wallet and phone) but small enough to carry around the city. The plus was the removable shoulder strap! Also, it matches my pants so well and that was unintentional, but I’m so happy it worked out like this.
P.S…is the hat familiar? I featured it during my trip to London in this post!
